Ardmarnoch Estate

Argyll is renowned for its good quality local produce from the fresh fish and seafood landed in local fishing villages throughout, to the free range and highland bred poultry, sheep and cattle. Ardmarnoch has its very own ham as well as free range eggs and home grown fruit and vegetables.

If you prefer to stay at home and cook you can buy fresh fish and fresh shellfish just across the water at Tarbert, from Dougal Johnson the fishmonger or Neil Prentice of Prentice Seafoods (details below ) who is able to supply mussels, crab, lobster, crab meat and scallops. For those who like to eat out, on the whole the quality of dining through Argyll is also very good with chefs taking care to prepare food using the finest local ingredients.
