For Golfers

Scotland, the home of golf, unsurprisingly has some of the best golf courses in britain, with varying difficulty, fees and of course each with different views and visual beauty. There are many golf courses within a short distance of Ardmarnoch ranging from 12 minutes to a couple of hours including ferry travel.

We have listed all accessible courses within a 2 hour travelling distance throughout Argyll below, starting with the closest first. If you are going to play several courses in one day which is quite possible, it is favourable perhaps to do courses close to Ardmarnoch in the same day, and take the ferry to Tarbert and attempt several courses on the peninsula there another day. You will not be disappointed with the variety.
